This weekend the Alexan Events crew had a giant event at the Ritz in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The event was a Great Gatsby-ish theme with white, gold and black accents. The bride wanted a moody burgundy bouquet and the final result was stunning. After creating such beautiful florals (photos to come) I was inspired to create this blog. Here are some of my favorite wedding bouquets as of late!
I love a bouquet with a lot of texture. The look is full yet airy, structured yet loose and textures that make the bouquet look complicated and stunning! Whether your wedding day color is blush or moody reds and burgundy, the greens you add will pull the whole bouquet together.
This weekend while all eight of our floral designers were working on bouquets, runners and garlands, we were chatting about our favorite floral designers. Ponderosa and Thyme came up and I had to put two of their bouquets at the end of this blog. The look is organically loose while having a lot of structure and wow impact. These are some of the smaller arrangements you will see and a bit more practical for our clients. I just love the casual way these flowers shine in each bouquet all the while knowing that this look some major skill and artistry!
