Beano’s Cabin Beaver Creek Colorado

Fall weddings can be a gorgeous but tricky time of year to throw your big wedding party in the Colorado mountains. One second it can be sunny and the next it could be snowing. And while we might be biased, this October 1st, 2016 wedding at Beano’s Cabin in Beaver Creek was pretty darn perfect. The weather could not have been nicer and the colors were stunning! We are pleased to show you one of our last weddings of the fall season. With the fall leaves in full color, the photos from this wedding were stunning! The yellow created such a beautiful backdrop for this adorable couple. Laura chose peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses for her bridal bouquet. We loved creating these wedding floral arrangements and bouquets.

The bridesmaids bouquets were a mix of cafe au lait dahlias, hydrangea, burgundy dahlias, white roses and eucalyptus. Next to her ivory dress, these colors were romantic and understated. A little something blue! Laura chose these gorgeous navy heels to match JP’s navy tie, cute polka dot suit square and navy viburnum with a pale pink spray rose. We are a Beaver Creek wedding florist as well as the full wedding planner. We love being able to take the decor and floral ideas and turing them into a reality! The hydrangea, dahlias, millet, bush ivy and fall leaves created these romantic flower arrangements. Each arrangement was completed with our aspen accents. JP’s mother was the light of the party! This photo captures all the bridesmaids having a blast before the ceremony. Jennie Louis Pitts of Jennie Lou Art was hired to create a painting of the wedding! It was so cool to have an artistic interpretation of the wedding! We love this unique idea.

What is better than a boozy hot cocoa bar?! This hospitality table was out for everyone to enjoy as the cool fall night came in. Our clients can choose which elements to add to their wedding hot cocoa bar. At Alexan Events we provide all the furniture and other decor items to customize your wedding hospitality table. Think jars of marshmallows, crushed candy canes, cocoa flakes, and cinnamon sticks and maybe some liquor. And, “trust me, you can dance” – Whisky. Complete with gold leaf escort cards, gold chargers, candles and aspen filled flower arrangements, the tables were gorgeous. We loved pairing these aspen floral designs with antlers and gold. This created a rustic chic look at Beano’s Cabin. These cozy lounge areas were a sweet spot to land for the guests. Laura and JP wanted their guests to have comfortable places to put their feet up and wrap up when it was getting chilly. We have many items to choose from in our rental repertoire, but we loved their rustic chic choices. Snuggle up with your sweetie and some hot chocolate!

Eat, drink & be married

Sugar Breck, a beautiful bakery out of Breckenridge, CO made this gorgeous wedding cake for Laura & JP on their big day. We can’t stop looking at these photos! Laura and JP had so much love and playfulness. These photos capture just that! With a big flowing veil, the photos were amazing! When you have a mountain wedding, using the chairlifts, the mountain village settings and the natural backdrop is a great idea for amazing photos.
The groomsmen all had sneakers and suits. It was playful and comfortable for all of them. How cute is this little flower girl!

Congratulations!

Helmut Fricker is the alpenhorn player in Beaver Creek Village. He graced our presence at the wedding in a big way! And, last but not least, we cannot help falling in love with these photos and this couple. The night sky in Beaver Creek is stunning. With love in the air and shooting stars over head, we can say that this fall wedding was a magical event.
